Volunteer Social community manager with multimedia skills

Job summary

We are looking for a talented Volunteer Social media manager to administer our social media accounts and cultivate our online voice. You will be responsible for creating original content, managing posts and responding to followers. You need to be up-to-date with the current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.

Responsibilities

  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content biweekly (e.g. original texts, images, graphics, videos and news)
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner
  • Oversee social media accounts’ image and synchronization 
  • Analyze web traffic and relevant community metrics

Requirements

  • Strong writing skills in English
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Experience in managing Social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Initiative and team spirit
  • Basic knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics is a plus
  • Familiarity with WordPress is a plus

Time Commitment

4 hours a week including one-hour weekly online team meeting
